Mediterranean Bathroom Design
Mediterranean bathroom is about bringing classic old world into your home. this Mediterranean bathroom is covered by slightly different shades of natural stone tile that cover the floors, walls and vanity.

The 16-inch tiles on the floor make the space seem larger. Six-inch tile is wrapped around the case molding and base boards. The tile on the vanity is seamlessly continued up the walls to the ceiling. The borders around the built-in his-and-her mirrors are made from a sculptured bronze tile.

The boring white sinks have been replaced with vessel sinks. Made from glass mosaic tile with a hand-rubbed metal finish on the outside, these exquisite basins are the focal point of the room. Even the stopper is exceptional–the unique design is made from ceramic and metal.
Vessels sinks are a sizzling hot design trend right now. They create such a high impact, elegant statement in any bathroom.

The standard-issue tub also receives a facelift. Natural stone tile is used on the surround and the backsplash, and also frame out the glass block window above the tub.

The space is personalized by putting up a special saying that was near and dear to the homeowner’s heart. Adhesive vinyl is used instead of messy stencils and paints.

The bland white walls are given a Mediterranean look with a faux-stucco finish done in natural earth tones. Adding to the Old World feel are the two black wrought-iron torches hanging on each side of the bathtub. Wrought-iron sconces have also been placed around the mirrors above the vanity.
