The Urban Residence Sendai is situated in a residential area in Sendai, Japan. Designed by Apollo Associates Architects with the concept of a modern house made of wood without using any pitolis or other supporting structures. This modern Urban Residence Sendai provided an extensive garage space, sufficient for two cars.


The Urban Residence Sendai features a semi-privacy with the windows closed, but still could see out. Interior home design is centered on the internal pages. Still get the comfort and warmth.

The living areas were on the first floor and referred out onto a terrace with sloping facade, which cantilevered over a car port below. Slits in the enclosed terrace gave slight views out to the street. A bedroom, storage and music room were all set on the ground floor around a central corridor that led out onto a little courtyard. A child’s bedroom was positioned at the rear of the house on the upper level, separated from the living room and kitchen by the courtyard.
